Sadly, Auger died in Paris on 18th December 2019 at the age of 78.

The former Bond girl has been married 4 times and has 4 children. In 2018 she became the oldest woman to pose for Playboy at the age 67.

However, as has been the case with so many actresses, it would be her role as nuclear physicist Christmas Jones in The World Is Not Enough, that would make her an international star.

Similarly to Pussy Galore, Christmas Jones became one of the most famous characters in the Bond franchise as her name was used by Bond in a famous quip at the end of the movie.

Since her performance in the Bond movie, Richards has had a varied career in both film and TV.

Richards divorced Charlie Sheen in 2006 after 4 years of marriage and has two children with him.

She adopted a third daughter in 2011 and married Aaron Phypers in 2018.

Born in 1928 in London, Gayson played a lead role in The Revenge of Frankenstein before landing her biggest role at the time, in Dr No.

The actress was originally cast as Miss Moneypenny but later switched to the more flirtatious Sylvia Trench.
